LOST & FOUND是一场Live Show。以古老的智珠寺为背景，3位音乐家在现场将联手带大家一起来体验变化的永恒本质和转瞬即逝的时刻之美。
该表演被设想为一次视听之旅，现场演奏、高清视效和独特的环绕声系统让人身临其境，在这个特定地点和这个特定时间点之间建立深刻的联系。在发生地发现的声音和物体，本质上是有文化价值的艺术品——通过中国传统乐器叠加电子乐器、制作不断演变的音景、错综复杂的节奏和短暂的和声，呈现生命。
LOST & FOUND 将智珠寺的旷世特征与艺术表达行为进行了对比，这种艺术表达行为只能存在于这一时刻，并将其印在我们生活的时间轴和这个历史遗存上。
LOST & FOUND - Celebrating the moment in a timeless space
Set against the backdrop of the ancient Zhizhusi Temple, "LOST & FOUND" live show by three artists is a reflection on the permanent nature of change and the beauty of fleeting moments. Conceived as an immersive audio-visual journey utilising high definition video projection and a unique surround audio system, the performance fosters a profound connection between this particular location and this particular point in time. Sounds and objects found on the site - essentially artefacts of the present are brought to life through electronic transformation superimposed by Chinese traditional instrumentation, crafting evolving soundscapes, intricate rhythms, and ephemeral harmonies. LOST & FOUND is contrasting the time defying character of Zhizhusi temple with an act of artistic expression that can only exist in this very moment and prints it as a mark on the time axes of our lives and the existence of this historic site.

TIM BAUER
Architect, Designer and Musician
Tim BAUER is from Nürnberg, Germany, currently located in Beijing, China. Tim’s musical endeavors include TIM SOMNIA, a synthesizer and guitar driven studio project turned live band, KOMETH, a live techno act revolving around performing with electronic instruments and several movie scores including both Indie projects, and commercial productions showcased on German and Chinese state TV. Tim’s performances range from shows at punk rock dive bars, underground techno clubs and experimental fashion shows. Recently, Tim has been increasingly drawn to the fascinating contrasts and astonishing parallels between architecture and music. Everything is rhythm and sequence, structure organizes both a modern museum and a classical sonata. In contrast, architecture offers a tangible, lasting legacy, while music, in its fleeting beauty, exists momentarily and ceases to exist in a blink. Tim's current works explore the relationship between space and sound and how humans interact with both through the passing of time.

thruoutin
American-born electronic producer, DJ, and multi-instrumentalist
thruoutin, has been based in China since 2009. His work varies from project to project but often revolves around the combining of different genres with a focus on organic and digital sounds. As a DJ, thruoutin showcases music that influences him as a producer including left-field club genres that float around footwork, gqom, bass music, amapiano, deconstructed club, and ambient music. He has extensively toured through North America, Europe, and Asia; releasing music on several labels along the way. Most recently he has put out work with Chengdu-based labels New Noise and Beijing’s Daft Pop Unicat Attack Series, and Aud-Art. He has also performed on Boiler Room China and played at festivals such as the Wuzhen Theatre Festival and Chunyou. The musical works of thruoutin are best listened to on Bandcamp where there is a comprehensive collection of EPs, splits, and albums. There are three recommended releases: Ghost Lineage (New Noise), Perseverance Selects feat. Abbe Shushu (Daft Pop Unicat Attack), and Contingent of Outlying Territory (Ran Music).

Brad M. Seippel aka thruoutin was born on November 16th, 1984 in Metairie, Louisiana, USA. Being the son of American and Brazilian parents, he was constantly exposed to a wide range of musical styles throughout his childhood. His father played (and continues to play to this day) drums and conga in New Orleans-based rock and soul bands, and introduced him to his first bass guitar. Besides the bass, his home was full of instruments of all ilk, and childhood friends and family unceasingly introduced new music to him which he absorbed rigorously. His first recordings were made at his parents' house around the age of 13. He soon fostered an interest in stringed instruments while playing in punk bands in high school in Louisiana. Later on, like many young adults expanding their musical horizons, he formed an interest in electronic music production and field recordings while living in Mobile, Alabama during university. Seippel played in various local bands and ensembles, before turning his focus on electronic music around the time of junior year in college. Using computers, he began to produce his music and connected with a community of like-minded musicians over the internet (especially on the p2p file-sharing software Soulseek). He started his solo project, thruoutin, during his final two years of university, between 2004 and 2005. In 2006, at the age of 22, he released his first record as thruoutin, I know you’re my voicemails.
After graduation, Seippel lived in New Orleans for a year before immigrating to Ningbo, China to learn Mandarin Chinese and later to Beijing, China to pursue music production and audio engineering. Once again connecting with the community of musicians and artists in his new surroundings, he soon became involved with the local music scene, joining Dongcheng District based boutique label Jingweir, and has since collaborated with such musicians as Shen Lijia, Michelle Proksell, Anita Pan, and Song Zhao among others. Seippel played bass guitar for the bands Yantiao (2011-2012), Secret Knives (2012), Mammals (2015-2016), and Social Boar (2016). He has opened for such performing artists as Daedalus, Telefon Tel Aviv, Branko, Jamie Woon, Japandroids, and Subs, among others. Seippel currently resides in the Chaoyang district of Beijing and runs the production studio Brevity of Motion Sounds.

Involved in the fields of new media art interactive installations, video art and conceptual art, she is the founder of the new media art groups "E3" and "Nine Dollar Nine" and has cooperated and performed with many domestic art institutions and art projects. The founder and creative director of XFF, a new media creative group, has long been active in major music festivals, concerts, new media plays and press conferences as a stage director, stage designer, interactive installation creator and on-site VJ.
